  14. My brother (against my urging) bought an IBM PS/1 2155a-22T.  It has an 
  15. internal modem.  In addition, he got a Brother fax/printer, and the software 
  16. from that seems to be causing trouble.

  18. When he tries to get going with Winsock, he gets the following messages:

  20.                         PPP disabled modem is not responding
  21.                         script aborted
  22.                         ppp enabled
  23.                         snd(co21)
  24.  
  25. That last message repeats with a bunch of 0's.
